  The second of our four Pillars is not about cutting out bad habits in your driving. It's about true roadcraft, higher-level awareness, and planning skills.
  It's about commentary driving, and consideration of the contextual and behavioural issues that affect your decision making every day behind the wheel. 
  
  
• How to Become a Coach (Pillar Three):
  The best driving instructors understand coaching and they use coaching approaches and methods as a framework, or scaffolding, to build everything else on to. 
  Rather than being "just another tool in the toolbox", at BPM, coaching is the toolbox, and Pillar Three is where you will develop your understanding of it. 
  
  
• How to Become an Instructor (Pillar Four):
  Instructional skills are what keep everyone - coaches/instructors/learners/the general public - safe. 
  In Pillar Four, you will learn how to provide clear directions, instructions, and demonstrations; manage interventions when your leaners require support; watch and anticipate the actions your learner is going to take.
